Here comes our First Social Action Project of Virtues in Movement (VIM) that aimed to enable community hospitals and birthing centre  in rural villages  in Nepal to equip them with Oxygen concentrator and Container to deal the second and third wave of Covid 19 pandemic, where many such community hospitals and health centres were running out of medical supplies.  This is a small effort of the VIM Nepal team trying best to give hands to such health centres to deal with the Covid 19 - pandemic as safely and wisely as possible.

                   Handing Over Medical Supplies to Various Community Hospitals by VIM Nepal Team 

As this is VIM's social action project with multiple collaboration and cooperation with our friends on 31 July reached Methinkot Hospital with 10 oxygen filled cylinders of 40 Litre capacity ( each one will last 2 to 3 days on average oxygen flow) , 10 oximeters and 10 regulators. This hospital is run and owned by a community having capacity of 15 beds, a child birthing center that runs for 24 hours and also Covid Isolation ward of 40 beds. With medical aid we have provided , we expect that it will help them to fight and deal with the Covid pandemic very safely as many community hospitals in Nepal in remote/semi-urban areas have poor access to basic medical supplies. We brought the medical supplies in Kalanti Bhumidanda Primary Community Health centre with 1 oxygen concentrator and 13 oximeter , Panauti Health Centre in Panauti Ward no 7 with 10 oxygen cylinder , 10 regulator and 10 Nasal Cannula , Khopasi Primary Health Centre with 5 oxygen Cylinder , 5 Regulators , 5 Nasal Cannula in Kavre District. These medical supplies will surely help them in saving upcoming lives due to its 24 hours child birthing center and help them best to deal with the pandemic predicament due to Covid 19.

We have been receiving requests for medical support from various hospitals and community health centers for the supplies that they need. We are working on it to best equip and offer them their need for medical supplies.
