"Grassroots Ecological Educator" Initiative

​

The creation of a community of indigenous women educators to impart environmental/ecological education for school children and youth. The VIM Indian team, along with their counterparts in other parts of the world, will work towards enabling the indigenous women to develop an indigenous wisdom-based/inspired environmental/ecological education curriculum and programme. Virtues-values-meanings will form an integral part of this educational programme as self-discovery and deep learningful encounters with Nature.

 

The project will be initiated at Dhabadoli Panchayat, Birkaldihi Block, Balisankara District, Sundargarh, Odisha, India.
